Baptist Health Becomes Inter Miami CF’s Official Medical Team, Hospital System and Sports Medicine Provider; Commits to Local Youth Development with Official Jersey Sponsorship of the Inter Miami CF Academy
MIAMI, Fla. (June 29, 2020) – Inter Miami CF today announced it has entered into a new multi-year partnership with Baptist Health as it looks to restart its inaugural season in Major League Soccer (MLS) in July 2020.
Baptist Health, a Founding Partner, will serve as the Official Medical Team, Hospital System and Sports Medicine Provider for the Club’s MLS and USL League One teams, as well as the Inter Miami CF Academy teams.
Baptist Health has also committed to becoming the first-ever presenting jersey sponsor of the Inter Miami CF Academy ahead of the 2020-21 season, in an effort to support youth development in South Florida.

Inter Miami will resume its MLS season featuring in the MLS is Back Tournament on July 8 at 8 p.m. ET against Orlando City SC. The closed-door match at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando will broadcast live on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.
Fort Lauderdale CF will launch its first season in USL League One play on July 18, the league announced last week. The USL League One team will serve an important role in bridging the gap between the Academy and MLS team, allowing developing players the opportunity to continue advancing in the sport in a competitive and professional league.
The Academy will resume under a new structure and format for the 2020-21 season with over 120 youth players ages 12 to 19, representing communities all over South Florida. The Club will announce more details in the coming weeks.
