Position Description
Aquarius Sports and Entertainment is seeking a Sr. Manager/Director to join the agency’s Client Services team to act as the lead for a major account(s) within the healthcare industry. The Sr. Manager/Director will have full project management and staffing responsibilities, represent the client on behalf of the agency, develop and execute strategic plans, and prepare and follow through on new business proposals. Additionally, the Sr. Manager/Director will provide on-site supervision/management of events, as well as delegate and assist in growing the agency staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Account Management

  • Represent the client on behalf of the agency
  • Oversee and set direction for account team’s’ project work, while developing solid working relationships with internal teams and clients
  • Maintain daily key communication (verbal and written) with clients, property partners and vendors
  • Create and present strategy, recaps and other documents effectively to clients
  • Prepare and manage client contracts
  • Play a key role in the creation and development of client sponsorship strategy, event marketing programs and activations

Event Management

  • Oversee on-site management and coordination of sponsorship activation and event marketing programs

Budgeting

  • Develop and manage client program budgets
  • Oversee the vendor bid/negotiation process

Agency

  • Serve as an effective leader while managing and growing agency staff, and fostering teamwork amongst colleagues

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong time-management and organizational skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and independently manage account team staff
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, partners and vendors
  • Ability to develop and express creative, strategic plans and ideas
  • Ability to see the “Big Picture” and anticipate client needs

Education and/or Experience Required:

  • 5+ years relevant work experience
  • College graduate
  • Agency and/or sports/entertainment experience preferred
  • Some travel required – varies by program, may include weekends and/or holidays
